Upgrade to the cloud over the weekend

The desktop version stays supported. When you are ready, send us your database on a Friday and sign in to the cloud on Monday. We bring over 100% of your historical data: every job, vendor, payroll run, and ledger entry.

Four steps to go live

  1. 1
    Request your migration

Start the request in the customer portal. We schedule the cutover around your payroll runs and month-end close.

  2. 2
    We convert and validate

We move all of your desktop data and history, and check that the trial balances tie out before you look at anything.

  3. 3
    Side-by-side review

Run the same job cost, payroll, and general ledger reports in both systems and compare the numbers. Your desktop version keeps running the whole time.

  4. Weekend cutover

Send your final desktop database on Friday. We load it over the weekend, and on Monday you post new work in the cloud and your crews use the timecard app.

What we convert

  • Chart of accounts, journals, and ledger history
  • Jobs, cost codes, and budgets
  • Customers, billings, and service invoices
  • Vendors, open invoices, and 1099s
  • Employees, pay rates, deductions, and direct deposit
  • Payroll year-to-date totals and time off
  • Union rates and workers comp codes
  • Equipment and maintenance history
  • Materials and purchase orders
  • Work orders and worksites

Common questions

Do I have to migrate?

No. The desktop version is still supported, and installers and year-end payroll updates stay available in the customer portal.

Does my maintenance change?

Your desktop maintenance keeps its current billing cycle. Moving your jobs, payroll, and ledger history to the cloud is a one-time fee, quoted before you commit.

What if my old data has mistakes?

We flag what we find during conversion. Correcting historical entries is quoted separately.

What happens to my historical data?

All of it moves: every job, vendor, customer, employee, payroll run, and ledger entry, with the same history you see on the desktop today.

Where do I sign in after the move?

We send your sign-in details and the timecard app link for your crews when you go live. Your subscription and invoices stay in the customer portal.
